The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, screening, and interviewing highly technical candidates for a variety of engineering and technical positions. They will work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and requirements. The Technical Recruiter will also be responsible for conducting reference checks, negotiating salaries, and extending job offers.

What you'll do:

  • Understand the business and culture, build relationships with the hiring managers to understand their needs and be able to source great candidates
  • Manage relationships with senior leadership and hiring managers for Engineering & Product; drive recruiting strategy through consistent and clear communication.
  • Provide pipeline metrics, ensure a balanced slate of candidates are introduced to the interview process
  • Own weekly reporting to the VP of Engineering and appropriate hiring managers, suggesting areas for improvement
  • Lead hiring efforts for all level of roles; execute on recruiting and closing strategies, and track hiring metrics – delivering high quality results within expected timelines
  • Provide a world class candidate experience by delivering timely, thoughtful and helpful updates and feedback
  • Partner closely with multiple stakeholders including recruiting peers, interviewers, hiring managers, Compensation, Inclusion and Diversity, and HR
  • Proactively improve our recruiting processes and identify opportunities that need refinement
  • Adhere to all Company compliance, recruiting policies and best practices, leveraging available tools and data to drive strategic decision making

What we're looking for:

  • Proven and practical experience leading initiatives and managing full cycle Engineering and Product recruitment within an agile recruiting environment
  • Minimum 2 years experience recruiting Engineering talent. Ideally working with small companies in high growth mode
  • Strong knowledge of external recruiting sources and active/passive sourcing techniques
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A data-driven, operational mindset – capable of using metrics and drawing insights to help identify challenges, solve problems, and share recruiting progress with leaders
  • Drive to build our teams from the ground up – a self-starter who can navigate nascent environments, build processes, and is resourceful and organized
  • Strong knowledge of external recruiting sources and skilled at identifying and engaging passive candidates, building diverse pipelines, and providing inclusive candidate experiences
